The Hathorn M7 sewer and drainpipe inspection system offers a quality grade product, suitable for inspections of drain and sewer pipes at a price which offers an excellent price to performance ratio.

All Hathorn M7 systems are supplied as standard with a 7.4” (19cm) shatter resistant colour LCD monitor, housed in a robust field case which can be mounted on the reel, and powered by a Milwaukee 18V or compatible external battery for improved flexibility of operation. All M7 systems are equipped with 60 metres of premium push rod cable (sizes 9.5mm, 10.2mm and 12.6mm) installed on a durable butt-welded stand-up reel and your choice of DuraCAM camera heads, which can be optionally self-levelling and with cool running super bright LED lights, the Hathorn M7 has the ability to light up and inspect pipes up to 300mm in diameter.

The heart of the M7 camera system is the digital video recorder box contained in a heavy-duty polymer case, which houses the colour LCD screen, which is protected by a weatherproof acrylic shield. The DVR boasts USB recording that is able to save video with distance information overlaid to a USB drive for supplying to clients, or further analysis of pipe surveys. One touch recording and video pause add to the simplicity of the Hathorn M7, and the camera head lighting is also adjustable from the control box.

The DuraCAM camera heads are available in diameters of 25mm, 31mm, 36mm and 43mm and can be specified with the self-levelling option (except 25mm) meaning that the orientation of the video is maintained regardless of the camera head position within the pipe, eliminating any confusion over which is the top or the bottom of the pipe and which direction any junctions branch off. These camera heads also utilise auto-iris technology, which allows the camera aperture to automatically adjust to various lighting conditions automatically to deliver the highest quality picture possible. With HD image quality and stainless-steel construction, the DuraCAM camera heads are designed to be robust and reliable. Unlike many cheaper alternatives which use a mineral glass, the DuraCAM camera heads use a scratch resistant sapphire glass and include a high power 512Hz sonde. This frequency is preferred, as it emits a signal profile which is less likely to accidentally couple on to other nearby services which can distort the sonde's signal and cause inaccuracies in locating.  Most brands of 512Hz camera head locator can be used with this system to pinpoint the position and depth of the camera head.

For users who prefer to utilise the latest in mobile technology, the Hathorn M7 systems can optionally be supplied with Wi-Fi. This allows the system to be connected to an Android / iOS smartphone or tablet via the free Hathorn PipeSTREAM app, it is possible to stream and record over Wi-Fi to a mobile device.
