The Testrite T-2000 is a hand-held electronic refrigerant leak detector, used for leak testing of refrigeration and air conditioning systems. The T-2000 is suitable for use in any application, where quick and accurate refrigerant leak detection is required, and is both lightweight and extremely easy to use. Lending itself to a variety of applications, the T-2000 is ideal for use in commercial, industrial and residential air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including split systems, air handling units, packaged units, chillers, supermarket racks, automotive systems, transport refrigeration, refrigerated cases, wine and cellar coolers and process cooling applications.
The T-2000 contains a built in air sucking system, which draws in a small sample of air, and analyses any refrigerant content, to give higher levels of accuracy. Coupled with the microprocessor control, and the built-in digital signal processing, which eliminates false readings, the T-2000 is capable of detecting the most minute leaks, down to a level of 3g per year. The user is alerted to any leakage with a multi colour visual display and a variable intensity audible alarm, for use in noisy or hard to see areas. The semi-conductor sensor is newly developed and extremely sensitive to a variety of refrigerants, including R22, R407C, R404A, R410A, R502, R123, R134A. The sensor is housed at the tip of a 40cm flexible probe, ensuring ease of use in the most hard to reach places.
To achieve easy and accurate results, the T-2000 has a low, medium and high sensitivity selector to make pinpointing of leaks easy, reliable and precise. Once the user identifies a leak on a system, the ambient concetration reset function allows for quick resetting of the detector, to simplify finding leaks in one easy operation, without having to power off the instrument. Weighing only 400g, the T-2000 is small enough to fit in any HVAC technician's toolbag.
The T-2000 is supplied complete in a carry case, with a bottle of leak reference checking solution, batteries, and user manual.
